My perception about the leaders

People follow leaders they respect and leaders who are competent. Leadership is easy on a smooth-sailing journey. Respect is almost always gained on difficult grounds. There is no way of getting credibility except by overcoming difficult challenges and doing a good job. Leaders who are not capable of meeting challenges may desire respect from their people,but they rarely get it. They may get things done by exercising their positional power,but they will not earn the respect from their people. Poor leaders demand respect,competent leaders command respect.
